US Payment Handbook
The US Payment Handbook is an evolving, high level guide to the complex US payment industry.
This online book is the result of six years of whiteboard drawings, Keynote slides and “back of a cigarette box” scribbles as I’ve tried to understand and help others become familiar with the US payment industry. And this is the start of building the best (and, so far, only) US payment reference to help anyone understand this crazy, complex ecosystem.
Rockstar Boss
In fifteen years of business around the world I have kept notes on how the best people I’ve worked with do what they do. Ending up with over 250 observations and descriptions of behaviors, I decided to start filtering and compiling them into a book.
Rockstar Boss started life on the public stage as a blog that is currently paused while I’m working toward a draft and “better than just a book” format worthy of the rockstar boss concept.
Seth 50
My all time favorite author is Seth Godin. His books have changed a lot about how I do what I do and perceive the world, business and at home. In 2010 he reached the landmark of 50 years and to celebrate Allan Kent (@allankent) and I rounded up fifty of Seth’s friends and we put together the Seth 50 project. From idea to birthday surprise was only two weeks.
Accidental Creative Street Team
In mid-2011 I was fortunate to be part of the Accidental Creative Street Team, a short term collective assembled to assist with the launch of Todd Henry’s first book (this one). As part of spreading the word, we each put together how Accidental Creative has positively impacted each of us over the 5+ years leading up to the book launch. This website is the collection of our stories.
